PENSEE DU JOUR...

Texte tiré du "bulletin myspace" LOADED d'hier:

(pour les peu-anglophones un petit effort suffit à la compréhension du texte)

to answer everyone's question.

SOON ENOUGH !

now heres good readin.

Longboarding is not about rails, grinds, ollies and flip tricks, the only concern
involved in longboarding is to enjoy the ride no matter where your at or who your with…which is really easy and fun, anywhere with anyone, everywhere with everyone.

Longboarding is not about looking for who or what you are or what you do, or even trying to be something you're not - it's about being who you are. Everyone can and should be in tuned with that and ride everyday.

Longboarding is not about making money or spending money, shit it’s free entertainment if anything!

Your sponsor is the road, and the only contract you sign is with
yourself. It's about simplicity, Carving and cruising.

Longboarding transforms a trip to
the quickie mart or classroom from a monotonous annoyance into a sidewalk surfing extravaganza.

Cowabunga muthfuckah!

Longboarding is more than just a piece of wood with wheels on it; it’s a work of art full of culture and expression.

It's a lifestyle, emotion and skill. It's about enjoying a ride on Richmond’s old brick sidewalks, avoiding VCU cops and bombing the steep hills down to the river. Your everyday local sidewalk becomes a perfect concrete wave that is always right on time.

Don't just ride; enjoy the ride.

Longboarding is a medicine for the mind, body and soul.

It’s a good cardio workout, enhances balance and overall coordination and reaction time.

The best part is the ability to “clock-out” from the everyday repetition and stress of the work day. When you are focusing on the road, traffic and what’s ahead you, it’s in that moment everything else is completely erased your mind, sometimes for good. I love the connection, dedication and commitment you are forced to participate in while flying down a hill, all while just standing still on your longboard.

So here’s to the riders that can relate and/or the readers that can respect.

Ride on.

"Longboarding is not about ollies and kickflips; the only real trick involved in longboarding is being able to enjoy riding no matter what your ability is or what the conditions are like. Longboarding is not about trying to be something you're not - it's about being who you are. Longboarding is not about sponsorships, contracts or stopwatches; your sponsor is the road, and the only contract you sign is with yourself. It's about simplicity. Longboarding transforms a trip to the grocery store from a monotonous annoyance into an adventure. It's about remembering that there's more to life than money and schedules as you feel gravity locking your feet into the board on a tight carve. It's about having more fun walking up the hill with friends than carving down by yourself.

Longboarding is more than a fancy piece of wood with wheels on it; it's an attitude. It's about enjoying a ride on broken pavement 400 miles from the nearest ocean just as much as a perfect barrel ride in ten foot surf. Don't just ride; enjoy the ride."
